Budget-Friendly programs are by no means low-quality. Budget-Friendly programs do not skimp on the important stuff for learning your target language, such as teaching methodology, teacher training and experience, atmosphere, homestay interaction, personal attention paid to each student, school administration, past student feedback, and the overall value of the program. Where the value comes in is by de-emphasizing things like range of lodging options, accreditations and memberships, and extra activities, excursions, and services offered. Studying at a Budget-Friendly school can save you money and allow you to study for a longer period of time, thus compounding the amount of Spanish you learn and retain.
So, if you want to go to a quality school and learn Spanish with excellent teachers and recommendations by past students but without a lot of “extras,” don’t be afraid to try out a Budget-Friendly program.
